Stan Cohen joined the organization in January 1994
and first became involved with the the trade show committee shortly
after that. In 1995, he proposed to the board of directors starting
a website for the organization. There was debate over whether or not to have a website and if it would be good for the organization. Phil Cantor, president at the time, had to be convinced of the benefits of having a website before moving forward with the registration of a domain name. The first domain was registered in March 1996. In January 1999, the board voted to update the name to its current domain of NJCreatives.org. The website has had a variety of major updates as well as many monthly updates. |
