NEWS FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

May 28, 1999—Northern New Jersey—New Jersey’s creative community will open its portfolios during a one-night showcase sponsored by the Self-employed Writers and Artists Network (SWAN) on Friday, May 28. The Creative Cafe and Portfolio Review will be held 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Bergen County Community Services Building (formerly the Bergen Museum of Art and Science) in Paramus.

The Creative Cafe and Portfolio Review provides an opportunity for creative services professionals—including writers, designers, illustrators, photographers and AV/multimedia creators--to showcase their talents and meet prospective buyers of their services.

Refreshments will be served. The event is free to SWAN members and $8 for non-members at the door.

SWAN, founded in 1984, is the regional business-to-business organization of freelance creative professionals, including writers, designers, illustrators, photographers, and multimedia producers.
