As a busy professional, do you find yourself scrambling to juggle your time between work and family demands? Are you wondering how you can get ahead professionally when you have so many family responsibilities? Does your work time cut sharply into your personal time as you find yourself going to more business meetings, fielding business calls wherever you are and answering endless e-mails? Do you have too many commitments to friends, family and volunteer organizations so there is too little time for yourself? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then Mary Amoroso, host of the cable television show, “Real Life,” which airs on CN8, has some tips to help improve the quality of both your personal and professional life. Amoroso will be the guest speaker at the Wednesday, February 9, 2005 meeting of the New Jersey Creatives Network.

Mary Amoroso is host of CN8’s “Real Life with Mary Amoroso.” She also wrote a column for The Record of Hackensack called "The Pressured Parent." Prior to her roles as a CN8 host and newspaper columnist, Amoroso held many positions in the media, including news and features editor, political columnist and statehouse bureau chief. Her broadcast experience includes reporting for WNEW in New York and the New Jersey Network. She is the recipient of many awards, including the New Jersey Press Association Award, the Cable ACE Award, two Telly Awards and a Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award. She lives in New Jersey with her husband, Jim McQueeny, president of Winning Strategies, a public relations company, and political analyst for News12NJ, and their four children, ranging in age from nine to 22.
